In search of:

A Part-Time Instructor for the following different Trade Classes:

Electrical, Plumbing, and HVAC 

Seeking an instructor to teach a class of 20 students who will learn NCCER Core & Trade levels. NCCER Training Curriculum, which includes lesson plans and all instructional aids, is provided to all Instructors.  

For the following teaching times:

• Fall semester: August – December
• Spring Semester: January – May
• Night-Time Position(s): Classes run two nights a week, either Mon & Wed or Tue & Thurs
• 6 pm-9:30 pm, depending on the trade.

Job Requirements:

Minimum of 6 years of experience as a Journeyworker or holds a licensure or certification required in the given occupation.     

Must pass a level 2 background check for the School District.

Experience with the NCCER Curriculum is a plus/preferred but not required.

Training:

• All instructors are provided professional development and mentoring in classroom instruction, teaching principles, learning styles, and classroom management.

 Compensation

• $30 per hour, depending on applicants’ qualifications and experience.
